Quick update!

Hey friends! Thanks so much for your prayers while we are on the journey.

Yesterday we had to go to her medical appointment and then to the police station. Both were pretty quick visits. Don't have pics of either one though.

She was NOT happy about any of the nurses or doctors that checked her out but she survived of course. She has now started crying if anyone touches her or talks to her while I am holding her. Felt like we were making a little headway yesterday morning. Our guide even jokingly (but maybe not so much) called her a spoiled baby now. Fine by me!!! Let the spoiling continue I say!!!!

Just look at that crooked little pinky. Makes me miss my Neely's crooked little pinky too. :-( Such precious hands.

Didn't take any pictures yesterday of her. We were busy during most of the day and yesterday afternoon was really hard. She was grieving terribly. Please continue to pray for her. It is so hard.

We had lunch at Pizza Hut. Very fancy compared to ours. We accidentally had ice in our drinks but so far no adverse affects! Praying that continues. Oh, and MinLan likes pizza....good to know.

We tried the orange drink below. Grapefruit and mango I think....pretty yummy.

We really stepped outside our comfort zone and ordered a pepperoni pizza. :-) Not much for living on the edge for this girl. There were some WEIRD pizza choices. You could even order a steak. ?!?!?!

Bought these on our trip to Trustmart and was horrified to learn that the pretzel ones do not have sugar crystals on top!!!!!!! This is a terrible injustice!!! My favorite ones!

As you go to bed please remember to pray for all of us. We visit her orphanage today and have asked to meet her foster parents as well. After the day we had yesterday, I know this will be really hard for her. Her little heart is so broken and to her we are the cause of that brokenness. Pray that this trip will be peaceful for her. Pray that if she does get to see her foster parents that she will not be too overwhelmed and that she will willingly come back to me. Something so important.....they are such a huge part of her story but something so difficult as well.

Love,
Jenifer
